Hope any club members who went to the Isle of Wight had a good time and a safe journey. If any of you took photographs you would like to see on the website you can email them to stevennetting@hotmail.com . Same goes for if anybody went to Rocksteady or the Dirty 1/2 Dozen do over the weekend or the Specials family fun day.
Next weekend looks a bit quiet locally unless anybody knows of any events, the weekend after is the Mersea Island Scooter Rally and Almost Grown club night to look forward to.
Pictures and videos of the fun day have now been added, it was a good day so well done to everybody who was involved in organising it or helped out on the day.
End of Season Do
A date has been set of October 11th for the clubs End of Season Do, entertainment is still to be announced. Now is the time to let us know what you would prefer entertainment wise, I believe Alec will be asking for suggestions at the next meeting.
Fatboy operation update
Darren Daniel a.k.a. Fatboys operation went well although I would not expect him to be winning any Northern Soul dancing competitions just yet.
The operation was necessary due to Darren having had a bad accident some time ago when he was knocked off another club members Lambretta scooter whilst running it in for him. He is ready to resume his 'scooter running in service' should any members be interested!
